Ultra Sound said 4cm. MRI said 8cm. Pathology said 12cm 😞 No chemo, 30 sessions of radiation, AI's for the next upteen years.🙄 I'm 60 and had a Bilateral Mastectomy.

My mom’s was detected during her yearly mammo. It’s less than 1 cm. Oncologist appt today and she’s looking at lumpectomy, hormone therapy and possible radiation. So thankful for your profession. You truly save lives.

Had a mammogram biopsy today for AD that was hard to see on ultrasound. They biopsied a mass and lymph node with an ultrasound last week, but couldn’t see the distortion well enough, so I had to come back today. (First biopsies were benign 🎉) keeping fingers crossed the AD is too.

I was just diagnosed - waiting for MRI results - I saw in the office an AI aspect that they talked about that would help see more in the tests- is this something on the horizon for these hard to find cancers?

I had ILC. BIRADS5. I heard the word spiculated. My breasts were apparently extremely dense. My surgeon said the tumor board commented what a good catch it was by the radiologist. I hope she is living her very best life. It was caught early but from the sounds of it, it could have been easily missed. I did opt for double mastectomy and it turned out there was LCIS all through the breast that was never seen on any imaging so I made the right call. Hormone positive and her2- and no node involvement. Onco of 11 so no chemo. I’m 4 years into anastrozole and breast cancer index indicates no benefit for continuing after 5 years. Hope my story helps someone!

I just had a diagnostic mammogram which resulted in a biopsy in both breasts because I had distortion bilaterally…have you ever seen this?
