girl do what you want please…i’m a child of immigrant parents as well and yes even though they always tell you to be doctor or engineer, at the end of the day, it’s your life and you have to live with that decision for the rest of your life. Do what you want!

I’m Filipina and my sister’s a nurse. My mom pushed me to pursue nursing (even if she’ll say it was my choice.. it was NOT) and I hated every single minute of it. So I decided to switch majors and pursued accounting instead. Happier than I’ve ever been and I work from home with my doggie😌
