To clarify, the amount I save may vary depending on my wage, also withdrawing into cash will mean I’m less likely to spend, I’ve not tried this method so it’s all trial and error for me right now.

If withdrawing into cash works for you then do it, I’ve tried both and cash saving is all that works for me. If your going to be more tempted to spend it in a savings account the interest etc means nothing, good luck im with you!

Do not withdraw your savings into cash very bad idea. Zero interest or growth. Invest in higher interest accounts.

Transfer savings straight to your ISA every month on pay day, move it straight away to avoid spending but do not wait to put in your ISA, make that money work for you! You've got this!

I cash stuff into various accounts and some actual cash, I save so much money. I give myself pocket money and what I don’t spend I put into a tin, I’ve just opened this and have enough for a nice trip away.
