Some of these comments are disappointing😭 yes it is your choice to make but ladies if your husband decides to leave you 10, 20 years into marriage you’re going to be so glad that you worked and built your own bank account, savings, credit score, work experience, retirement fund etc etc. We cannot depend on men, there’s so much research into the divorce experience, we cannot deny the risk involved with being a SAHW and depending on a man for literally everything.

I am a dentist that owns my own practice and I was easily, I’m saying EASILY, able to walk away peacefully from a marriage that was no longer serving me. I 💯 agree!!!!! I have 3 children and because money was not an issue, there was no toxicity in the breakup.

Ok, listen to me then as a 43yr old SAHM. Get an education, make your money, don’t get married until ~30 & choose your own path. Feminism was about choice & you can be a SAHM. It is that incredible, it is that much of a gift, but you have to marry a decent man & have money as well.
