Liberated Lady :
Mummies were not buried alive. They removed their organs and brain to mummify them before wrapping them. They were long gone when they started the mummification process.

Generally, mummies were not buried screaming. Jaw muscles relax after death and can drop leaving the mouth appear to be screaming.

more than half of these are wrong! servants were not buried alive, screaming mummies exist because they were brutally m*rdered in war and not because they were mummified alive, the curse never existed they just misinterpreted a text!!!

I don't think servants were buried with the kings otherwise in every tomb. They would've found a bunch of skeletons, which I don't think they have.

Waymond Womano :
Servants were not buried alive. They think they were poisoned and then buried. This only happened for a brief time in the old kingdom before the pyramids were built and the Egypt we think of today. I’m sure it could have happened but its is considered a myth

They servants were buried with the pharaohs. Like their ships, treasures and food, Egyptians believed they would need them in the afterlife. This is why Egyptians prayed to Osiris, the god of the afterlife.
