@dr_heavenly: I am truly honored and humbled to receive the Excellence in Healthcare Access Advocacy Award from GSA Global Eye Magazine, surrounded by members of Congress and global leaders who are redefining what real service looks like. This recognition isn’t just about a title, it’s about the work. Decades of serving my community, creating jobs, and fighting for equitable healthcare access. Leadership requires courage. It requires speaking up when others stay silent , and I will not sit quietly while families struggle. People are sick of the same status quo. I’ve lived life on both sides of the system, and that’s exactly why I’m running for Congress. When I’m in Congress, I’ll be a voice for affordability, accessible healthcare, strong public education and HBCUs, mental health resources, veterans, and small businesses , not special interests.
