@only.injapan: Most tourists don’t realize this, but Japan has a luggage forwarding service that lets you travel without dragging suitcases through stations, stairs, and crowded trains. Instead of carrying heavy bags across cities, you can send your luggage ahead and move around hands-free. This works when traveling between major cities like Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and beyond. Pricing is usually based on suitcase size, not weight, and is often more affordable than taking taxis with large luggage. Delivery is typically next day, depending on distance. Pickup and drop-off are available at hotels and staffed luggage service counters, and it can also work with Airbnbs as long as someone is available to receive the luggage. Most hotel front desks can help you fill out the forwarding form, even if you don’t speak Japanese. This is one of those Japan travel hacks that saves time, energy, and stress — especially if you’re traveling with multiple suitcases or moving between cities. Save this if you’re coming to Japan #japantravel #japantrip #luggagehack #japantips #japanthings

what most travelers don't know is that you don't need to pack your entire house to travel to a different country for only 1 or 2 weeks. Only pack the essentials, Clothes you are actually going to wear (if you plan right, you can wash your clothes while in Japan). I always book Airbnb's with washers, cuts the amount of clothes you actually need to bring in half. My last trip to Japan for 2 full weeks only needed a travel backpack and small tote

i used the service and sent the big suitcase from osaka, hiroshima and then kyoto to toko hotel ,while i went to visit kinosaki onsen with a small suitcase, it cost £12 each time, its much better to travel on the train without the big suitcase

Carrying luggage from airport to hotel using the train was a painful mistake I remember from my first trip to Japan. 😂 Stairs after stairs.. and we happened to ride the train during a rush hour. We learned to travel light and use baggage storage service after that. I’ve never tried the luggage delivery service yet but considering it.

Is it possible to send it from the airport to Tokio and get the luggage at the same day? Or they will get it to the hotel on the next day?
