It was an attack on Australians regardless of their religion. It was a Muslim man who stopped one of the shooters but as soon as we start labelling people by their religion that’s when they win! We are all Australians no matter our faith and as such we grieve for our fellow Aussies. Division causes more division so while we aren’t ignoring their faith at all; we are choosing to focus on unity rather than promote more division via faith. If you say “prays to the Jewish community” then you aren’t acknowledging all of the Aussies who aren’t Jewish who helped, were injured and traumatised in the tragedy. What did they all have in common? They were Australian ♥️

Not to mention the fact that the first people to intervene and approach the gun men and wrestle the gun out of his hands was a Russian JEWISH elderly couple who both were shot and sacrificed their lives to help others! And both husband and wife were murdered! Barely any recognition. Barely any accolades. Not sure if there is a go fund me set up for them but their wasnt 24 hours ago! And the Muslim man who was a hero who did the same thing but thankfully survived has been hailed a hero and over 2.5M dollars raised..which is deserved..however what about the Jewish elderly couple! They were old and gave all they had..their lives 😭😭😭
