As someone who got contact dermatitis- listen to all the comments!!! It’s AWFUL!!!!!!!! Like I’ll do child birth again over dealing with it. Just a word of advice. I never knew it was a thing till it happened

she did AMAZING! but you can tell there’s polish on her skin, which will cause contact dermatitis. it’s extremely painful and you won’t ever be able to use any nail products

I loveeeee girlies doing their own nails! As a licensed cosmetologist, just advise her to do her best to keep any gel off of the skin because she can develop contact dermatitis which is a really bad skin allergy. If she gets that she won’t be able to do her nails anymore! But keep up the great work girl 😉

Oh my, her and Lexi are the same! The girls now sometimes pay her to do their nails instead of going to the salon if they don’t have time and they turn out looking just as good!

definitely don’t recommend this! i did this, i was doing everything correctly never got any polish or glue on my skin but i ended up with contact dermatitis. i wanted to be a cosmetologist and now i can’t bc of the way i react to any nail product, even air dry polish. once you get it, you’ll forever be allergic to it all. please just pay for her nails

this is so amazing, but maybe starting off with an air dry polish or painting her own press ons would be better! when working with gel, if any gets on the skin (that being the cuticle or surrounding area of the nail bed) even a small amount can cause a gel polish allergy, which can actually cause allergies for other products! this is so amazing and so fun! just be extra cautious! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

She did so good!!! Just keep an eye out for contact dermatitis signs because it’s common (I suffered with it too), what I will suggest incase the allergy to gel develops if you go to TJ Maxx or Marshalls they have nail stickers that you can put just on your nails or you can glue on the nail and then lay the sticker over them. Or they have the press on nails. Once you buff your nail and rub some alcohol and put the press on nail with the glue you’re good to go as prep! That’s what I started to do and THEY LAST I cook, clean, wash, etc and it lasts for weeks!
