I don’t think it’s a matter of her not being able to save him, because he didn’t WANT to be saved. He saw her and knew She needed help, he made it his last wish to help her get through her sisters death and learn how to grieve. Because he knew in the end, that she would be grieving him too.

when i was younger this was my so called "comfort movie" and i would cry everytime. i remember feeling exactly how finch felt and i hoped someone would care for me the way vi cared about him. this breaks my heart
