According to Google: "Yellow-tinted night driving glasses generally do not work to improve vision and may actually reduce safety by limiting the light reaching your eyes. While they may reduce the perception of glare from headlights, studies show they fail to improve hazard detection, such as spotting pedestrians, and can make visibility worse in dark." This is also my personal experience with them. Best avoided.

be careful with these! I've had to stop wearing mine. I was fed up of taking them on and off 😂 if there's no light on the road and headlights are coming towards you, you can't see a thing! that's why dvla are really against them. they maybe ok for town driving definitely not for country lanes
