I actually worked for the 4th largest tree removal company here in Texas and I’ll tell you the price varies of the Job. If the trees are huge and located next to the house insurance cost to cover the contractor sky rockets since nobody wants to cover that high of a risk or else insurance companies wouldn’t be in business. Not to forget the contractor needs to pay employees co$t, equipment cost, dumping cost, overhead cost & other expenses. Those 2 trees for $8k sounds really fair compared to what the company i worked for would charge. If you don’t have the money it’s fine just don’t hire them and do it yourself to save on cash.
