@whoislsam: I don’t talk about this much, but this moment carries weight. Not the happy kind. The kind that comes from years of being overlooked, underestimated, and quietly written off. From always coming second. From watching belief and praise land everywhere except where you were standing. I grew up being compared until it felt normal. Questioned until I started questioning myself. Treated like my potential had an expiry date. I made mistakes, yeah. Big ones. And for a long time, those mistakes became the only thing people chose to remember. After a while, you stop explaining yourself. You accept that some people have already decided how your story ends. What hurts most isn’t the lack of applause. It’s realising that your victories feel small to others, even when they cost you everything. You learn how to move without validation. How to stand alone. How to build yourself quietly while the world looks the other way. Changing my entire path felt like jumping without a safety net. Starting from zero with almost no background, no guidance, no hype. Just pressure, doubt, and nights where giving up felt easier than proving I was capable. But through every low point, Allah kept me standing. When strength ran out, patience showed up. When belief disappeared, discipline carried me forward. And in the darkest moments, a few rare souls stood beside me without conditions, without comparison, without making me feel small. I will always be grateful for that. Today, I stand here with First Class Honours in BSc (Hons) Computer Security from the University of Plymouth. At 21, working fully remotely as a Security Engineer for an Australian tech firm. Not given. Not gifted. Earned the hard way. This isn’t a flex. It’s a statement. For the quiet one who was doubted. For the one people underestimated. For the one who kept going even when the ending had already been written by others. I know exactly where I came from. And I know exactly what it took to get here. Alhamdulillah for every lesson, every loss, and every rise after being counted out. On to the next. #graduation #nsbm #fyp #universityofplymouth #creatorsearchinsights
