So to start the game you reveal cards from the hoard until it gets a non token card. Then you get 3 truns to defend yourself. After they attack and its your trun are all of those cards tap unless they have vigilance? When it's the hoards trun again do they summon until they get a non token card again, is it 1 card each trun, or is it they are preparing for another wave and you get another 3 truns to build up defenses while the previous wave attacks each time?

I have used this to test play all my decks for several years. Try a 5 player game of 40 card deck each. Tough but doable. Lots of fun. I so want to do a Cube draft against the horde.

so combat on the Ford's turn sounds easy because the creatures just attack but how do you handle the hordes defense on the player stand? you have to pick and choose how The horde is blocking the players attackers

The humans gave my friend and I quite a bit of trouble, the dinosaurs were less tricky because we got a third player, and the eldrazi went down in 1 game. The horde is quite strange

this sounds like a lot of fun! I just have a couple questions, if the hoard has card draw effects are those cards that are drawn also immediately cast? Also are we able to attack the hoard during those first 3 turns?

We do zombies. It can get challenging especially if we add burn the bodies, where we need to mill the graveyard by doing extra or redirecting damage to the graveyard. 1 damage=1 card removed. otherwise the cards in the graveyard come back next turn
