“Traditional” SWE here - tons of experience, and very much invested in AI. The right answer here is to integrate a service like Sentry or Datadog. Those give you the best of both worlds. Granted, configuring them and using them effective represents a skill in and of itself, but I would argue that it’s an important skill to develop.
