No, I barely remember my mom saying that if I sit too close to the tv, it will mess up my eyes or something along that line. I also remember someone saying that too much tv is bad for you. 90’s

My grandfather told my dad if you keep doing that, you will go blind. My dad stated to his dad, I will keep doing that until I need glasses.

my gatndpa always said if we watched too much TV our brain will melt and come out of our ears, if we played with fire we would pee the bed (never happened, though), etc. All of my parental guardians growing up told me outrageous stuff. Yes, as an adult, I have fact checked EVERYTHING I was told as a kid. 90% was all lies 😂😂😂😂
