DO NOT USE PRESSURE TREATED WOOD. Only use cedar OR redwood. Redwood is best. You don’t want to eat the treat crap that leaches into your food.

It’s also coming up to that time of year where I take the tossed fresh Christmas trees of my neighbors and fill the bottom of any new beds I’m adding or chip them for my garden path walkways 👍🏻

I live in Vegas and it's more challenging. I found that a tall raised bed that's open to the ground is critical. I dug down 18 inches and raised wall 3 feet. They were 4 feet wide, I used brick. I also used vermiculite to retain water, this is the desert. Having a large soul mass that went I to the ground created soul temperature stability and let them survive the summers
