Please DO NOT forget this as you get older. This ICU nurse see’s it all the time. Younger doctors being “human and listen” just to a few years later turn into non-listening, treating patients more like a file number than a living being. Please keep it up. Please

Seriously… when you feel like a number it’s hard to have faith in what the doctor says. It’s bad enough to have to constantly see a doctor, but to see a Doctor Who does not see you.

When you are in private practice or VIP providing it’s easier for doctors to slow down and listen, be human. When you work for corporate or government entities you are not allowed to be anything other than a robot 💯

I’ve felt like im just an insurance claim for 13 yrs. Live with chronic pain from back injury(L4-5, S1, nerve damage) and 2 neck surgeries. I refuse to go to Dr or an ER. I’m over being treated like I’m some addict and not worthy of help. I’m 61now, I was 42 when I hurt my back.

This is the joy of a real provider. I have good relationships with all my providers 🙏🙏. Doctors should not go thru the day like routine and rush from one patient to another. I used to run a doctors office- stop chasing the numbers! Namaste!
