I will never be able to come to a solid decision about how I feel about this scene being deleted 😭 on one hand, I adore ratchet and am his number 1 apologist but I don't think even I'd be able to defend him if he said this so I'm glad they didn't do that to him. but then I'm also upset they didn't include it because it would've been such a great scene to get deeper insight into optimus and the lore of that universe

I REALLY do wish they had done this- under the influence of synthetic energon, ratchet could finally convey his emotions, and act on them. was it healthy? no. but it was a really nice aspect to see how the war really affected him mentally, and his views toward optimus, the most important being in his life, by his own words. and to see how this scene would’ve impacted their relationship if it had been implemented, is something i wouldve loved and hated at the same time.

tbh I prefer the release version because OP punching ratchet doesn't feel in character. of course he would be angry, but he's a shockingly well adjusted bot and losing it like that would be too much. I like the idea of ratchet bringing up elita though.
