Adhd suitcase hacks I find work: Pack a plastic bag, or mesh laundry bags. When you've worn something, chuck it in there, anything clean goes in the suitcase. When you get home that washing can go straight in the machine - no need to sort (which is a barrier). Get those toiletry bags that are like a draw string sack - yeet, easy to empty and sort, easy to pack. Buy ludicrously cheap toiletries and don't bother bringing them home with you These are the small things that have helped me with the mental barrier of unpacking ☺️

I force myselft to unpacked just right when I come from a trip. because if I don't do it at that moment, I know that suitcase will be there for weeks😭

Body doubling is awesome. I do it with my teens and let them do the run up and down(I usually offer candy from my personal stash too!) when I need to clean my office. Which I need to do today....

I mostly make it a "oh I need that shirt, I wore during my vacation" and pull it (just that one!) out to put it in the washing machine with other non-suitcase-clothes.

AuDHD. I make myself unpack the case as soon as we get home. Immediately. No sitting down. Not even taking a wee. If I do that, it gets unpacked. If I wait, it becomes furniture.
