So what should I do? because I’m 40 weeks with a head down baby and he doesn’t look like he wants to break his water. I’ve been 1 cm dialated for like 3 weeks now and I was due on Feb 4th

My waters broke spontaneously at home at 39 weeks. By the time I got to hospital my baby had died due to chord prolapse. Very uncommon but you never think it will happen to you.

Why do some women gestate past 40 weeks and is it safer to get induced or to wait for additional 1-2 weeks for labour to start naturally

Hi, first time mom here. How does the mom contribute in the baby's position. Is there a way of shifting the baby to the right position?

Is induction for vaginal delivery best for polyhydramnios? or is C-section recommended?

If u think your water broke, or is leaking, even after you pee, does that mean your water is leaking and you should get it checked at the hospital

Amazing explanation! I don’t want an induction, but this helped me understand when it would be best.

Both of my labors started with my water trickling and active labor starting a couple hours later , first one lasted 6 hrs and second one 2 hrs. I’ve heard it’s actually not so common to have water breaking before labor starts, is there a reason I had it both times and should I expect it to happen next time too?

The two times I’ve been induced my water broke on its own.
