Astrologer here. Aries is the infant of the zodiac. They represent absolute independence. They are self-identifying always, pure as an infant. “I like this.” “Yuck.” They are brutally honest. They find it difficult to relate to ideas they themselves did not create. They are cardinal creative fire. THEY make the rules. Theirs is the only rising chart that is in its actual rulership, where we don’t have another sign doing the work of the house ruler. Aries starts the wheel. Aries is a "baby" sign and also, imo the most ego-driven and ego-centric of the signs... Yes, more than the Leo-Aquarius axis. I love Aries (I'm a fellow fire sign) but they take a feeling and run with it and call confirmation biases proof. Highly intelligent, sure, but intelligence and wisdom are different. Wisdom requires questioning your beliefs, not seeking to prove them. They're also very resistant to being controlled, so I imagine that temperament can lead to not wanting to consider a higher being that's considered omnipotent...
