i used to use this method, and it does make a great bagel, but the seeds don’t all stay on in my experience. I’ve lost many seeds down the drain. Instead, now I just spray the bagel several times on each side with a spray bottle of water set to the misting setting. Perfect even coverage without losing seeds or over-soaking.
