I’m the type that I’ll look for one of the cheaper options on the menu. Because I know they aren’t obligated to pay for me but when they choose to I try to be respectful of them.

My first date with my current partner was a discount movie theater with some candy. I was happy as a clam cause I got to spend time with him. We’ve gone on fancier dates since then but that movie theater and candy with him is my favorite first date.
