When Kinger says “that’s not possible…” to being told they know of a way to escape, I think he means that literally. My theory is that they aren’t hooked up to anything IRL. I think each person had their consciousness downloaded when the headset was put on and then they left. The “people” inside the game are just copies and it isn’t possible for them to “escape” because there’s nothing for them to escape to because their bodies are long gone. This is also why I think Kinger is the least likely to abstract because he already knows he isn’t real and just accepts it. Everyone else is under the assumption that they are just stuck and their one purpose to try to leave. If someone finds out they can’t leave/goes crazy from accepting they can’t escape, they then abstract

cara eu tenho uma teoria bem maluca, mas e se o kingo morrer? tipo pensa ele é o mais velho do circo e tals mas tem as supostas cápsulas que deixa os integrantes vivos, mas em algum momento a máquinas vão parar de funcionar sem alguém cuidar delas, no episódio 5 tem o intervalo que tem a parte que uma peça de xadrez preta derruba o kingo e quando isso acontece a peça branca perde, e se o kingo morrer ele supostamente vai sair do circo, e falando de sair do circo e se quando as pessoas enlouquecem elas saiem do circo, porque pensa, quando a ragatha lá no primeiro episódio se desculpa com o Kaufmo a abstração do Kaufmo parece não entender, ent aquelas abstrações podem ser NPCS do caine para os outros integrantes não saberem da verdade então a única saída pode ser eles enlouquecerem
