This movie absolutely destroyed me .. for those that haven’t read the book The ending in the book is different Mcvries sacrifices himself while Garraty lives but I think the movie ending is much more hopeful and powerful all Garraty saw was hate and vengeance while mcvrie saw the light and a new path forward 😪
