children that small dont have object permanence, right. so after you've left, they actually kind of forget that you exist and have a good time with the other children and the daycarers. but then you come back, and they see you, and they know that you exist and how much they're missed you during the day. daycare isn't evil, its a necessity, and you're not a bad parent for having to use them❤

I went to my nephew’s Halloween party last year and when I got there I didn’t know which class to go to he comes running and hugs me and starts bawling I ask him what’s wrong and he said I didn’t thing you were coming. Oh how my heart broke

Daycare isn’t evil. Bad daycares are evil. Daycare does help with schedules, learning, routine, and social interaction. We could keep our son home, but he loves daycare, he loves his teachers, sometimes he has bad days but so does everyone
