ngl the car behind overreacted, all you had to do was slow down instead of swerving.

Merging car is a fault but the 2nd one definitely overreacted.

Sure the front car may have switched lanes late over a solid white line. Which may be problematic not done correctly. However the Corolla had time to slow down as they weren’t directly beside them, and not (100%) in their blind spot. The swerving is all their fault and a skill issue. Not sure if an insurance company would hold the front car liable, I would think not.

2nd car needs a defensive driving course.

First car is at fault but the second car overreacted. Because, just because you turn on a blinker doesn't mean you get to cut someone off.

Front car braked after merging causing the second car to oversteer more. Plus it was his obligation to make sure the lane was clear to merge he almost hit the car

The car who lost control needs to relax at the wheel. That lane switch was so calm

Blue car overreacted a little but the white car crossed on a solid white, should’ve merged earlier and also did not give enough warning with blinker. Still love seeing these videos

Well the car coming over created the problem by jumping over signal or not but the other driver sped up to stop them from getting into the lane then overreacted and lost control on their own trying to correct themselves from being hit! The insurance will consider that they tried to not let the other car over and lost control on there own at that point 💯

Miss-and-run. Call the cops to get documentation, get the dash cam footage if possible, and call insurance

in most states there's comparative negligence. I'd be arguing this is mostly the rear driver's fault. no reason to lose control when gentle braking would have been plenty.
