Check the cords. If something chewed it, that will trip the gfi or breaker. 👍

Too much draw off that one breaker. Heating devices draw a lot of power.

Heaters draw a lot of power. You may have too many on one breaker.

I've seen people recommend adding some canned beet juice to chicken water because the beet juice somehow lowers the freezing point of the water. I'd love to know it that works.

for poultry we gave up on heated anything during winter and just use short small rubber tubs. makes it easy to slip the ice from overnight out and refill with fresh warm water in the AM 😅 the goats just have to deal with broken layers of ice and hot water dumped on top. thankfully no one minds!

You can add molasses to the horse trough to stop it from freezing

I highly recommend you get some kind of new heater. Something is making the breaker trip which could make that water electrified hurting or killing your animals. So there must be some kind of short so I would remove it. Just to be on the safe side.

Those heaters pull alot of amperage. You have too many on one circuit.

I feel you lol! I have one horse who loves to yank the tank heater out and burn them up. Then on top of that my water spigot doesn’t work in winter so I have to haul hose out every few days then back inside so it doesn’t freeze 😭 the life we decided to have is so stressful lol

My best guess, reading the comments. Likely one of the heaters failed and caused the outage. And as you said, it is what it is. The goal is to fix it and keep the animals safe, happy and healthy
