@belovedcabin: We live off-grid. In a shed. With 38 rescued cats. (And 3 doggies). And yes… people definitely still give us the wtf look when we say that. 😅 Is it chaotic? Chaotic. AF. Is it quiet? Absolutely not. Would we change it? Hell no. 🐈‍⬛😂 This life didn’t happen overnight. We didn’t plan to have 38 cats. We just kept saying “yes” to the ones that needed help… the shelter cats, the parking lot cats, the dumpster cats, the ones that showed up here like, “Cool, I live here now.” And somehow, it all added up to this. Our house runs on rescued cats, open doors, late-night zoomies, muddy paws, and a whole lot of love. Doors and windows stay open. Cats come and go. Dogs patrol like unpaid security guards. Someone is always eating, sleeping, zooming, or yelling at us because dinner (wet food) is three minutes late. Is it messy? Yep. Is it loud? Constantly. Is it a lot of work? Yep. Worth it? Also yes. But it’s also full of warmth, purpose, and life. It’s the kind of chaos that feels intentional… the kind you choose because it means something. We live simply so we can take care of these animals, and honestly, that trade feels worth it every single day. This place isn’t fancy. It isn’t quiet. But it’s home… and this house wouldn’t be a home without these little pain-in-the-a$$ animals we love so much. 💛🐾 Now, show us your pets! We’re emotionally prepared for cute overload.
