I don’t think it was an adventure, I think they actually found a way to escape. I think they could’ve left, but Caine got in his head so they wouldn’t leave.

I have a theory that none of the cast members are actually human I think that they’re gonna say that Caine is the only sentient being in there where he made all of them but accidentally made them ‘human’ like giving them fake memories and that’s why he can take control of their minds and when he gets bored of them he abstracts them or if they ask too many questions the only real exception is linger who probably went into the circus with Caine and queenie but Caine went full power hungry and made queenie abstract and linger go insane so that Caine could control the entire circus but because Caine had been in there so long he’s becoming more and more of an ai each episode which linger isnt because Caine accidentally made the person he tried to control more human then him
