to add to what you say. when Venezuela reclaimed their oil reserves, the US companies took them to an international court. the court rules that Venezuela had the right to reclaim their oil, but had to pay the US companies. Venezuela appealed and the appeal was only struck down either this year or last year, which means that Venezuela only now has to start paying the US companies. but. Trump doesn't want the money... he wants to keep drilling....
