True crime stories :
He went on vacation with friends and vanished after a night out Jay Slater was 19 years old From the UK On holiday in Tenerife In June 2024 After a night out Jay decided to go back to where he was staying But he never made it His phone location showed him in a remote mountainous area Far from tourist zones With rough terrain and steep drops His last messages said he was lost Low on battery And running out of water Then his phone went dead A massive search began Police Rescue teams Volunteers Helicopters searched the mountains But days passed With no sign of Jay His disappearance shocked people Because he didn’t vanish in a city He vanished in the open Weeks later Authorities confirmed Jay had died Believing he fell in the rugged terrain His death was ruled accidental But many questions remain Why he was there How he got so far off track And how quickly everything went wrong Jay went on vacation And never came home
