Congrats!!! I just finished first semester of my 5th year. The anti-science rhetoric and funding cuts have also hit us too, we have lab meetings where we collectively cry about it 😂😅

Congrats! My college does workshops on various hobbies and topics that are not academic, but faculty and staff are passionate about. I am teaching intro to knitting and a hat workshop, and I have colleagues teaching crochet and embroidery. I hope we can get a regular craft circle going. It would be such a fun space for lowkey mentorship and building trust. Also TAKE THE BREAK. Take the break and enjoy it. 💝
