The recline button is absolutely hidden on this plane! It’s a square button right under where your drinks go on the inner armrest. Looks like part of the design, but it’s not. And then slide forward, instead of leaning back, to recline.

I honestly feel like first class is always different, so no need to be shy about being lost finding things! You’re there though, so feel confident cause either way you have money to be there or everyone thinks you have money to be there. And folks w money can be lost too!

omg my seat mate and i were just grilling the attendant because the JAL flight we were on had such unintuitive seat situations. The headphone jack was in a compartment. behind your arm! Besides the safety video that should be a thing - how to control your seat!
