the best peeler is the one just use properly. no one peele in both directions unless they're selling you a peeler. the Oxo good grip y peeler is the best one.

I wet the potato, hold it in my hand at an angle, and kinda slap it quickly with a Y peeler or regular peeler and the peels fly or slide off… it works really fast but you need one that’s not plastic because it will probably break. Peeled a whole bag this way very quickly.

i just use a double sided normal peeler and hold the potato and peel it like an apple and I can peel a 50 lb bag of potatoes in 15 minutes I worked in a restaurant so maybe it's just skill but it's the easiest way I found
