Done thousands and thousands of miles in electric vehicles, from Cornwall to Scotland. Never in my life have I had the issues that you are fannying on about. Theres ultrafast and superfast chargers literally everywhere. Go grab a coffee. Take a shit. Grab a bite. Charge done.

Also it’s a common myth that has been busted that it’s worse environmentally for EVs. As a sustainbility manager I’ve done a lot of reading on this. Don’t forget the petrol in ICE cars is deep sea mined, or from deforested areas, think of the mass oil spills, but the narrative is always on the EVs cos big oil doesn’t want to lose profit. They’re not prefect by any means, the sustainability of batteries will improve but agree the grid roll out needs to quicker and also home charging installation is vital! But doesn’t solve the challenge for people in flats ect… but honestly my EV has been my fave car and running costs a fraction of the fuel costs

Complete rubbish! In Norway 99.9% of all cars sold are electric and charging wise it was like a charm. Plenty of charging stations and it takes 5-10 mins and charging times keeps on dropping.

been electric for 5 years! Audi and now BMW. outstanding range, charge overnight at home, costs 18 quid doing over 500 miles per week. fast, looks great! Might not suit you sir but no brainer for a lot of people.
