My moms 19 traverse does this all the time. It’s a switch that gets warm out to tell the computer that it is in park. Does not happen to my Malibu much tho.

Bruh my Malibu does the same thing I push grab the gear shifter and push it back a little and it goes off

I noticed that I would get this message at random times, but for some reason normally during the colder months. I found out just like the video shows, if you squeeze in on the gear shift trigger a few few times, it usually will clear the message.

Just make sure there’s no bracelet or anything like that on the shifter. Mine used to do that in my Chevy it turns out my bracelet wouldn’t let it fully go into park
