@gentleacresanimalhaven: My sweet Benny seems to be smitten. Esther is the only cow who lives on the goat farm that is on one side of our property. It was the first time she ever walked the entire 50 acres and made it to our shared fence line. While all of our herd was busy lying in the sun to stay warm, Benny saw Esther’s beautiful face and spent hours canoodling with her. Esther ended up staying on our side for three days until my neighbor had to walk over to bring her back because we were dropping to minus 10 degrees Sunday night. Benny has been looking for his new love interest since she left. I’m sure he’ll be excited to see her when it’s warm enough for her to come visit again! 🥰 Some of you have reached out to me regarding the GoFundMe campaign I started to try to save our sanctuary.
