my mom was never able to afford a brand new American girl doll for me. she took to Facebook and asked friends on her page if they had any secondhand ones. one lady sent my mom a message asking if she wanted one that was brand new, fee waived. my mom said no, that she wanted to get one for me and the lady insisted, saying she had been bought an American Girl doll when she was younger, by a stranger, and wanted to pass it on. I got that doll as a Gift from Santa that year. When I get the chance, I'm going to pass that on and Buy a little girl an American Girl doll that looks just like them (from the JLY line or something similar), brand new and have the shipping address be them.

this is wonderful ❤️. I wanted one as a child, my parents couldn't afford her, however my dad gifted me my grandmother's doll from 1915 Germany. hope your little girl enjoys the Felicity doll!!!

my family moved states when I was in kindergarten. When the lady we bought the house from found out that a tiny child was gonna be moving in, she left her daughter's old AG doll in one of the bedrooms with a train case of what was left of her accessories. I still have both to this day and I think about that small act of kindness a lot 🥹
