The issue with Russ being on the lakers was that he was already an established player. And he believed that the way he played was the only way since that’s what he was used to. It’s his fault for not wanting to put pride and ego aside to fit into a role with Bron and AD. Also Bron is a master of the game and Russ could’ve benefited from some advice. Rough szn to watch as a Lakers fan and it had be truly amazed with how bad a big 3 could look💔

so first play down three russ takes a layup whilst lebron is wide open in the corner then dude shoots a airball when he has a decently open cut down the basket (also a slasher and a below average shooter) that third shot is the best shot open and make able but when you dribble the ball up the court as a pg and shoot the ball thats hella selfish so like 18ish seconds left on the shot clock fourth shot dude hits under the rim and lebron is open in the corner again yes glaze ik dont play abt my king like that

Respectfully as a fan of neither of them just a basketball fan. You can clearly see most of these plays had a design in mind. first play was a bad read and bad game time decision. Second play Russ went arc instead of free throw when his man doubled, leading to a contested three instead of open midrange or extra pass. Third play is an early shot clock shot when there is a clearly designed play as shown by AD also being upset.

Yeah the lights was too bright for Westbrook in LA. It’s hard to play when your expectations are perfection or bust some guys can’t operate in that capacity. That’s why pressure makes diamonds!
