Sometimes I will dice/slice and freeze them, and use them in dishes where the onions gets cooked like in the beginning of a stir-fry or soup. This way I just need to process once when I have too much and save time down the road. It doesn’t matter if they get freezer burned to me because I’m either sautéing or boiling them.

I slice like a garnish and store in the freezer so I can use them in soup or anything I want to cook with those. I need to try that jar by the window!

I like this, normally I’ve done water, but it can get weird, if you don’t change it out. Like the paper towel method for sure.

a lot of vegetables including green onions are aided by throwing in a paper towel in the plastic bag too. obviously throw out the towel if it's damp
