I think most of us hate hook up culture bc most of yall don’t actually want to hook up with ppl who are ALSO only interested in hooking up. It’s so bad that there’s are we dating the same guy bc most of you aren’t actually posing these engagements as hook ups but instead it’s love bombing and coercive…also AIDs and STDs are on the rise and they are only considered not as common bc most ppl don’t get tested until they’re symptomatic

i mean the truth is manipulation runs rampant in hookup culture and it’s often normalized as it’s justified as well i’m not dating or in a relationship with this person so why should i have to do x. this then seeps into relationships as for most, hookup culture is seen as a phase so its impacts will most likely affect any newly formed relationships
