Daughter got straight up rejected too- 4.0 UW, 15 APs, all 5s for what was taken, the rest honors, 34 ACT. Lots of awards and a strong spike in ECs. from a top public HS in the Northeast. We were hoping for a deferral. The only 2 kids who did get in from her HS were legacies.
