Nope, ruin your knives - use that but then put a towel down and use a real cutting board so it doesn’t slide on you. Same thing restaurants do on their stainless steel tables…..

Wooden boards are the best for knives. Stainless boards are way too loud. I would maybe use one for cutting a pizza, but doing a lot of chopping would give me a headache.

That’s just asking for an accident to happen! Even professional chefs don’t cut directly onto stainless steel, because it’s dangerous. My boy is literally Michelin Star trained and he always uses a cutting board because of the dangers.
