We did not backslide w Biden in office. He had one of the most progressive terms and pushed for many left leaning causes like clean air and energy, stopping airlines and other companies from nickel and diming consumers and more.

Well yeah. You can't make demands of candidates who lost and isn't in power to affect changes. They have to win first. So vote Democrat, make sure they win and then demands follow. That's just basic strategy. The consequences if not following that strategy is that they lose to the Republican candidate

Have to always remember that the incremental change that liberals favor so much is built on a foundational belief that the current system is fine but needs tweaking. So in their eyes having republicans not actively worsening the situation is enough. They’ve no intention of restructuring or breaking down systemic issues.

I think that’s an interesting take but also why don’t you just move to Texas and see if you would vote for Jasmine or you would vote for the Republican candidate because that’s what’s happening here and that’s what’s happening in a lot of the elections is why don’t we just give Democrats a chance push the Democrats to get into the office and see if there’s somehow better than the demons that are there now but if you don’t live in the state of Texas or you don’t live in any of these states that actually are having these elections for senators. I really don’t think that you should be telling Texans how they should vote. That’s just me but you know I’m a registered New York voter I’m not trying to do get into Texas’s business. That’s not my job.
