If the 3rd QQ theme was different Haymitch prob would’ve been remembered as the best mentor of all time ironically. Sobered up one year, had an absolutely legendary tribute, and both of his tributes survived.

Also haymitch sobered quick, drank for years and then like raw dogged it without even batting an eyelash and that in itself spoke volumes about him but also his belief in his tributes.

I wonder how many people thought 12 was getting into the career game watching the 74th games. Katniss being 12s first volunteer. Haymitch sobering up. Peeta's brilliance in the interviews Katniss scoring an 11. Peeta running with the careers at first. The pricisely targeted gifts. Etc
