Hindi po nakukuha yang mga data sa weight lang, it takes time po para makuha yan. Magpa-assessment po kayo sa RND for accurate data. 🥹

ABOUT NGMAYEM Ngmayem literally translates as “Eating Millet” in the Dangme language. Dangme: Ngma English: Millet Dangme: Yemi English: Eating or consuming Ngmayem is an annual harvest festival celebrated by the Dangme people in Manya Klo (Krobo) and other Dangme traditional areas. The people of Manya Klo (Krobo) celebrate their Ngmayem Festival around Odumase Krobo in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The Manya Klo (Krobo) Ngmayem Festival was established in 1944 under the leadership of the Paramount Chief, Nɛnɛ Azu Mate Kole, replacing an older celebration known as Yeliyem, meaning “Eating of Yam.” The celebration was changed to honour millet, the historic ancestral staple crop that sustained the Krobo people during their ancient migrations. Celebrated annually, Ngmayem marks an important period of thanksgiving, renewal and unity. It is an opportunity for the people to give thanks to the Creator and the ancestors for an abundant harvest, food security and protection. The celebration features traditional rites, cultural activities and the symbolic communal preparation and eating of fresh millet porridge. Ngmayem is more than a harvest festival. It is a spiritual, cultural and social occasion that brings the people together in thanksgiving, unity and renewal.
