Tại sao anh lại không cố gắng để làm tốt như họ để em không rời đi mà lại để em tìm người khác tốt hơn anh vậy

Deeper explanations ↓ 1. Our formative relationships write the blueprint for how we learn to Love. What is modelled to us is what feels ‘normal’ and familiar. When we grow up in dysfunction, we internalise it. Because as children, we cannot understand our parents’ projection, we claim it as our own fault. So some part of us goes “if I can just fix them or be better or be patient enough, things might change”. And that framework follows us into our dating life. Leaving dysfunctional relationships doesn’t feel like an option bc it never was. And they feel most familiar, anyway. 2. this follows the same logic as the first one: when our parents mistreat us, our developing brain internalises it. We are constantly trying to locate safety - it’s a primary driver. If we notice that safety can be accessed by keeping everyone else happy/pleased & not ruffling feathers, we lean into that. It can become compulsive, the need to mediate our environment, because it feels like the only key to some sense of safety 3. This one is quite layered. As humans (and especially as children) we crave a sense of predictability. When the world doesn’t offer us this, we try to seek it on other ways. We learn to go up into our head & observe, analyse, fixate, obsess - because it feels like some semblance of predictability. “Being present & feeling my feelings isn’t safe. If I can be hypervigilant & consider every angle, I will be more prepared in all this chaos” is what the brain believes. Another layer to this is that there is shame involved. Part of us feels like we need to be constantly alert & improving ourselves to be safe, which hold the internalised message: I am not worthy of safety just as I am. Note- there can be other roots for all of these 🌱- - - #childhood #healing #cpstd #attachment #innerchild
