I only have a base knowledge of Marxism and I think it’s cool on paper but based off the Russian revolution Marxism really only leads to radical socialism which in turn leads to militaristic defeatist socialist becoming the majority and not following on their promises to the masses.

its a very fundamental fash hypocrisy. "X" is too weak and dumb and will fail on its own, but "X" is also so incredibly dangerous it must never gain a stronghold or it will destroy society. meanwhile we got capitalism crashing every 7-10 years like clockwork and it comes back even worse.

It's just not worth arguing over, the system is what it currently is. Either try to become one of the rulers or be ruled by it.

usa's Repub & Dem parties both follow neo-liberal ideologies of prioritizing corporate profits by deregulation of financial institutions to promote capital manipulation & create monopolies, tax cuts, and forced austerity aka cutting of social/gov benefits for citizens which promotes negative views on the gov; allowing easier privatization of gov functions like prisons, military, Healthcare, and more. two sides, same coin
